Each SOLID bar contains 225 calories and 44 g of carbohydrates.
SOLID reinvents by removing everything but the essentials. The result is a product in solid form made from oats and rice, recipe optimized for performance.
SOLID is Maurten's first hydrogel-free product. They listened to science and athletes and distilled it down to the essentials. They focused on performance. The result is a performance-driven oat and rice chew. It may look like a bar, look like a bar, and taste like a bar - but it's definitely no ordinary bar.
How to use the product
SOLID does not replace Hydrogel during training and competitions, it complements it.
- For marathon runners, SOLID is the perfect recovery snack after a workout or race to restore carbohydrates. This bar also works as an alternative to pre-race snacks.
- For cyclists, SOLID is a great fuel option for low to medium intensity workouts and as a before and after snack.
- For ultra runners, the standard nutritional advice is to eat something solid every 4 hours. The salt content of SOLID is also an advantage for restoring sodium levels during long training sessions and competitions.
- For triathletes, SOLID is an ideal fuel between sessions, and can be used as a recovery snack after training or competition to provide carbohydrates.
Ingredients
Glucose-fructose syrup, gluten free oats, maltodextrin, rice flour, sugar, sunflower oil, glucose syrup, oat bran, salt, emulsifier (sunflower lecithin), rice extract.
