GoldNutrition® Salt Caps are composed of mineral salts (electrolytes) that we lose mainly in sweat. The predominant electrolyte is sodium, as it is lost in greater quantity, the formula is supplemented with chloride, magnesium and potassium, to maintain an electrolyte balance. This product is intended for practitioners of modalities whose prolonged duration results in higher sweating rates and therefore a greater need to replace mineral salts.

Electrolytes are especially important in muscle, nerve, and heart cells, where they work together to conduct electrical impulses to nerve impulses and muscle contractions.

In the practice of prolonged exercises, and especially at high temperature, the body loses a lot of water and mineral salts through perspiration. Drinking water is essential for staying hydrated, but prolonged exercise is not enough. Electrolytes lost in sweat must be replaced, as their balance is essential for maintaining metabolic processes. Sodium intake, in particular, is extremely important to avoid situations of hyponatremia, commonly referred to as overhydration.

How to use the product

• Take 2 capsules per hour, in addition to your hydrating drink, during events / workouts longer than 2-3 hours or in very hot weather.
