In sporting modalities that involve prolonged effort, the reduction of blood sugar levels to values ​​that compromise the performance, or even the health of the athlete, is common. This decrease is characterized by physical and mental fatigue.

Energy Gel is the basis of the new approach of GoldNutrition gels. This gel quickly provides 25g of easily digestible carbohydrates, obtained by the combination of maltodextrin and fructose, which reduces the sugar content by amount of total carbohydrates. The combination of maltodextrin and fructose lowers osmolality, which aids digestion and reduces the risk of intestinal upset during training or competitions.

Boost Plus Energy Gel GoldNutrition® combines two types of carbohydrates: maltodextrin and fructose, in a 2:1 ratio of glucose to fructose. Glucose and fructose use different transporters to move from the intestine into the bloodstream. When glucose is consumed in quantities greater than 60 g/h, its transporter may become saturated, leading to gastrointestinal upset and, consequently, reduced performance. Thus, this combination allows better use of energy, as has already been verified in several modalities.

Long Lasting Energy Gel GoldNutrition® combines three types of carbohydrates with different absorption rates, maltodextrin, isomaltulose and fructose, in order to guarantee the stability of blood sugar and to prevent hypoglycemia resulting from the depletion of endogenous carbohydrates. It has been proven that with the inclusion of different types of sugar, it is possible to increase the absorption of this vital nutrient during exercise and also prevent gastrointestinal disorders. This therefore contributes to a better mental state and better sports performance. These benefits come from using different transporters to enter the bloodstream, maximizing their absorption and utilization.

How to use the product

• Consume 1 gel per hour of endurance exercise;
• it is imperative to drink at least 250 ml of water for each GoldNutrition® Gel
