This pack contains 6 gels

Each 80g gel provides 55g of carbohydrates and 250mg of sodium. The 44g XS size provides 30g of carbohydrates and 140mg of sodium.

This formulation based on "multi-transportable carbohydrates" has been shown in several studies* to facilitate intestinal absorption via different transporters. This characteristic represents an effective mechanism for increasing the rate of assimilation and oxidation of exogenous carbohydrates beyond 60 g per hour*.

Research confirms that combining carbohydrate sources such as maltodextrin and fructose is highly recommended.

MALTODEXTRIN:

• Unlike glucose, it must be broken down, resulting in a more gradual and sustained source of energy.
• It has a high glycemic index, causing a rapid increase in blood sugar without necessarily offering an excessively sweet taste, which could saturate this type of product.
• Being a carbohydrate chain, it has a high molecular weight, leading to a solution with a lower osmolarity, promoting digestion and reducing possible gastrointestinal side effects.

FRUCTOSE:

• Fructose is a monosaccharide, the simplest form of carbohydrate. Using the 1:0,8 ratio, based on recent research, maximizes the oxidation of exogenous carbohydrates compared to other ratios.
• The use of fructose in such a precise proportion is particularly recommended for athletes exceeding a carbohydrate intake of 60g/h.
• Thanks to this, the combination of maltodextrin and fructose allows you to digest and assimilate a large amount of carbohydrates per hour while minimizing the risk of gastric disorders.
