VEGAN or NOT or NOT THAT .... Are plants better for performance?

Many of you have questioned us after the broadcast of "The Game Changers".

This documentary impressed your minds by showing what no vegan movie has shown before: VEGAN athletes can perform just as well (if not better) than those on more conventional diets.
They show us stars like David Haye, Venus Williams, Novak Djokovic, ... who combine vegan nutrition with better recovery and performance.

We do not take advantage because we are respectful of individual choices and of course vegan athletes can perform as well as others. We also wish, as the film also suggests, to note that supplementation seems to be the key for these athletes who become totally vegan (that is, it is even more important than for omnivores).
That's quite logical: if you do not get all the nutrients you need from some food sources, you'll have to get them from supplements.
On this point, we refer to the work of David Rogerson (Academy of Sports and Physical Activity, Sheffield Hallam University, UK) and more particularly an article published in 2017 in the Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5598028/
In summary, veganism creates challenges that need to be considered when defining a nutrition strategy, such as adequate intake of vitamin B12, iron, zinc, calcium, iodine and vitamin D, as well as protein (including BCAA) and omega-3. However, says these scientists, these deficiencies can be filled through proper supplementation. This publication states that a nutritious vegan diet can be designed to satisfactorily meet the dietary needs of most athletes. In addition, it has been suggested that supplementation with creatine and [beta] -alanine may be particularly useful for vegan athletes, due to vegetarian diets that promote decreased muscle creatine and muscle carnosine levels in consumers.
In a table (resulting from this work), this gives:
