- Sportsmen

Spirulina contains several group B vitamins which act on the utilization of sugars, proteins and lipids to provide energy to the muscles during physical effort. Vitamins A and E (antioxidants) like pigments (phycocyanin and beta-carotenes) limit inflammatory phenomena. It contains in particular magnesium and potassium which help prevent cramps, zinc for metabolism, sugars as well as the 8 essential amino acids for the regeneration of muscle cells and selenium essential for muscles. Spirulina increases endurance and physical resistance and therefore allows better preparation before a sporting event and facilitates recovery after exercise. By its contribution in iron and Beta carotenes, it is also of great interest for the sportsmen on the plan of the oxygenation of the muscles by stimulating the production of the red blood cells (natural EPO).

- Pregnant and breastfeeding women

Spirulina will help before, during and after pregnancy, in particular by its contribution in vitamins B9 (folic acid) and iron whose needs are increased during conception. After childbirth or during breastfeeding, it allows better recovery and prevents fatigue. Spirulina also contains the fatty acid gamma-linoleic which is difficult to find in the diet and essential for the development of the fetus and infant.

- Active people

Spirulina, thanks to its anti-fatigue properties, is a first choice ally in the face of overwork. Perfect for "juggling" between children, work, physical and domestic activities. It can also counterbalance a diet that is sometimes neglected.

- Seniors

Regular consumption of spirulina makes it easy to provide the body with essential nutrients when food or assimilation is insufficient or difficult.

- Children and adolescents

During periods of growth, the body has an increased need for essential nutrients. Spirulina provides the essential nutritional supplement in a simple, balanced and fast way. The ideal in full blockade.

- Vegetarians, vegans, iron deficiency

Spirulina is a source of complete and assimilable vegetable proteins, vitamins and minerals essential for a good balanced diet.
It is an excellent source of iron which assimilates very well.

- Animals

Spirulina is suitable for the majority of our companions (dogs, cats,
horses, fish, etc.).
The coat is shiny, the scales showy. The vitality is overflowing and the transit rebalanced.

How to use :

Spirulina is a food. Therefore, there is no dosage to integrate it into your diet, unlike food supplements of chemical origin. However, here are some recommendations to follow:
- Consume 3 to 6 grams per day for an adult, or 1 to 2 teaspoons in twig or 6 to 12 tablets for half for a child.

- Consume it all year round or by cure of 1 to 3 months, lasting a minimum of 1 month.

- Avoid associating it with coffee or tea, favor an orange or lemon juice to fill the lack of vitamin C in spirulina and thus promote better assimilation of iron

- Avoid heating or cooking it, in order to preserve its nutritional qualities as much as possible.

- Mix in yogurt, sprinkle on a salad or soup, add to a tapenade or mix with goat cheese to spread on bread.

Warning : The form of iron contained in spirulina is highly assimilable by our body and the presence of vitamin B9 (folic acid) contributes to the improvement of ferritin in the blood. These characteristics make spirulina a contraindicated food for people with high iron levels or carriers of hemochromatosis.
