Clif Bar, the gourmet energy bar being sifted ...

To the delight of athletes and their taste buds Clif Bar arrived in Europe only a few years ago. And since then, the brand, undisputed leader in the United States and Canada, has attracted more and more athletes.

But where does Clif Bar come from?

It was in California, at the beginning of the 90s, that the American athlete Gary Erickson created these bars. Gary regularly made bike rides over 300 km. To hold out, he swallowed energy bars in a chain and sometimes to the point of disgust! And it was during one of these outings that he said to himself, "I could make a much better bar than this!"

Two years later, after hours spent with her mother in the kitchen experimenting, Clif Bar was born! Gary, the high-level athlete and his mother, the outstanding cook, had achieved the goal of creating a high-performance and delicious energy bar. They named it after the athlete's father, Clifford Erickson.

1. Its composition

90% of the ingredients that make up Clif Bar are from Organic Farming



Clif Bar bars are composed of nourishing but simple ingredients (oatmeal, dates from organic farming). Sources of protein and fiber, they provide vitamins B6 and B12 that contribute to a good energy metabolism. They also provide Vitamin A, D, E, C, Calcium, Magnesium, Thiamine, Riboflavin, Niacin, in short enough to hold on!

- In competition

Clif Bar is a good solid alternative to energy gels and drinks and will avoid the feeling of disgust and disgust that can be felt during long-term efforts. It is recommended to consume it with water to promote its assimilation.
